We are Heartleaf Games, creators of the Beast World. We’re a worker-owned publisher of tabletop game books supporting seven full-time artists, writers, and other hardworking furries. Our most well-known book is The Delver’s Guide to Beast World, a campaign setting for 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons. It’s hard to say this modestly, but we regularly hear that our presence is an exciting surprise for people who find us through conventions. We also use our space to welcome returning readers to share stories about their adventures in the Beast World. A booth or larger table allows us to give those folks, and ourselves, the space they need to speak. When we attend conventions, new readers often purchase our book on Friday and then return on Sunday to tell us how excited they are to play. We believe our presence in a dealer’s den is a unique addition to the convention experience.

We need our cons. Along with money from sales to keep our office rent paid, conventions are face-time with collaborators we’d otherwise never meet. We also use our time at conventions to find new talent in the fandom to work with. Our book contains the work of over 150 furry artists, and that number grows every month.

We recently passed 10,000 readers. We are growing quickly, and the often-invisible work organizing conventions is what makes all this possible for us. Thank you for your consideration.
